Princes Quay is four minutes walk from the City's train and bus stations, although most bus routes stop immediately outside the centre. The bus services 350 and 909 link Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Sheffield with Hull, service X62 Leeds, X46 York and service 121 Scarborough and Bridlington. A Park and Ride scheme also operates.

Hull Paragon Station is 300 meters from Princes Quay. There are 5 daily direct services from London. Arriva Trains Northern operates an hourly service from Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield, a regular service from York with connections to Edinburgh, Newcastle, and Teeside. A Half hourly service operates from Doncaster and Bridlington.
